Our Verdelho fruit is grown right here on our home vineyard. It is fermented dry, and receives no oak treatment.
The palate shows big, full fruit salad flavours, crisp, clean dry finish. It is an ideal aperitif wine, or an accompaniment to chicken, pork or Asian dishes.
This wine will develop over five years, but is perfect for drinking now.

The V V ia a blend of Viognier and Verdelho. The Viognier was picked as the fruit approached 12 Baume as good signs of fruit ripeness were begining to develop without the overpowering flavours of apricot that develop later with this variety. The Verdelho was blended to add a final touch of smoothness and to soften the pallet slightly.
