If you are looking to discover a great, locally produced Canberra District wine try some of Four Winds Vineyard's Alinga range. Four Winds Vineyard, family owned and operated, is located on the outskirts of the Murrumbateman township just half an hour from Canberra. A bottle of sparkling was ceremoniously opened to celebrate our first plantings in 1998. Since then over 33 acres of vines have been planted at Four Winds Vineyard. The cool climate of the Canberra District is perfect for cultivating the classic varieties such as: Riesling, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot and some of the lesser known varieties, such as Sangiovese.
