2013 was our earliest and most compressed season on record. Usually we pick our vineyards over six weeks but in '13 it only took 1.5 weeks for every vineyard to be picked to avoid the heat. It was 'GO!' time in the winery! Already a show medal winner and included in the VIC100 top wines of 2014, it's typically black fruited but with exceptional freshness for the warm year

The wine is a blend of 3 vineyards in the Grampians and is a stellar vintage, spicy, glossy, and complex with whole bunch fermentation aromas and a medium weight, juicy core of berries.

2014 Heathcote Grenache (RRP $30.00)
2014 is our first Grenache release, from an excellent year. 50% whole bunches were used in the fermentation of this wine to give perfume and lightness to the wine. It is a delicious liquoricey, lavender and boiled lolly smelling wine with rich spicy red fruits and fine tannins on the palate.
