Winery Region: Southern Tasmania, Tasmania
Bream Creek Vineyard is one of the first commercial vineyards established in Tasmania. Originally planted in 1973, the vineyard was purchased by Fred Peacock in 1990, who increased Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plantings and introduced Sauvignon Blanc. Fred also planted the first commercial block of Schönburger (a rare German varietal) in the Southern Hemisphere at Bream Creek. Bream Creek Vineyard produces premium cool climate Tasmanian wines that are renowned as both complex and elegant. Since 1990, Bream Creek wines have garnered 20 trophies and over 400 show medals and have an enviable reputation for consistency and reliability.  More infoMore Information
