Evoi Wines is a small producer in Margaret River, Western Australia. Only four wines are made. A Reserve Chardonnay and a Reserve Bordeaux style Red, a straight Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. Passion and character are the defining words for these wines. The volumes will remain very small and each Reserve bottle is individually numbered to express the limited production and attention to detail. The winemaker, Nigel Ludlow, has completed close to 30 Vintages in New Zealand, Hungary, South Africa, Spain, and Australia. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, with 20% barrel ferment to add complexity. A very fruit driven wine with aromas of passionfruit, snow pea,and capsicum, with a floral lift.

EVOI 2011 "The Satyr" Red (RRP $44.00)
This wine was bottled in June 2012. After completing ferment and MLF in barrel the wine was matured for a further 12 months in barrel. The blend has come together well with the Cabernet giving a beautiful fresh casis (red current) character. There is a lot happening with this wine and will continue to evolve over the coming years.
