Spicy white and black pepper, blackberry, cherry chocolate and earthy tone plus perfumed potpourri and scents of chai. The classic aromas of Margaret River shiraz. A little vanillan oak to finish and this becomes a rich and supple beauty.
A textural, firm yet fine palate showing juicy blackberry flavours with a chocolatey undercurrent. Black pepper and fine white pepper again, more eastern spices, mouthfilling and rich and long.

Single vineyard site between Margaret River township and Rosa Brook in the Wallcliffe sub- region. Cold-soak 3 days, open-fermented, pressed into new & aged oak. Unfined, lightly filtered.
Dark coffee chocolate, vanillan spice & cassis, blackcurrant & briary earth. The palate is creamy & lush, with blackcurrant & chocolate flavours, fine tannins. Fleshy & flavoursome, ripe & textural all wrapped neatly in cedary, vanillan, toasty wood.

50% wild-fermented in new and aged French oak (55% new), lees-stirred for added texture and complexity for 6 months, while the remaining 50% was fermented and aged in stainless steel. Components blended prior to bottling. This wine is unfined and only lightly filtered at bottling.

Mantra are small-batch winemakers from Margaret River embracing a minimal intervention approach.
